Education and School Mediation

Conflict and disagreements can arise at educational service providers like schools, universities or TAFE. We provide an independent consideration of the conflict and through structured negotiations we can assist participants to discuss their issues in a safe setting. We can assist participants to explore one another's points of view with a goal to reaching agreement as to a positive way forward. We assist the following relationships to work through conflict:

1) Parents and teachers; 

2) Parents and other parents; and

3) Disputing employees/employers
 

What is said or done at mediation is confidential (subject to limited exceptions) and this is so participants feel free, comfortable and safe to discuss their issues openly at mediation. If an agreement is reached at mediation and all participants sign and date the agreement, at that point the written agreement is no longer required to be kept confidential (all verbal comments made at mediation must still be kept confidential even if an agreement is signed).
