For Men and Women 

• Home in Place: Contact 1300 333 733 for support. One of Australia's largest non-government social housing providers with nearly 40 years' experience in providing secure and affordable housing, as well as delivering products for disadvantaged people who have difficulties sourcing adequate housing.

• Evolve Housing: 1800 693 865. Evolve housing is a leading not-for-profit housing provider in Australia, based in Western Sydney. Evolve housing is an award winning, Tier-1 nationally registered community housing provider. They are recognised as one of the most innovative and high performing CHP's in Australia. They provide housing solutions for eligible persons who are on a low to moderate income and who are unable to secure housing in the private market. Evolve has a presence in NSW, Victoria and in Tasmania. 

• Free Financial Counselling: Contact 1800 007 007 to speak with someone in your state or territory. Access free resources and advice from a private financial counsellor. 

• 13 Yarn: 13 92 76. The first national crisis support line for mob who are feeling overwhelmed for having difficulty coping. They offer a confidential one-on -one yarning opportunity with a Lifeline-trained Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Crisis Supporter. 

• Beyond Blue: call 1300 22 4636 for information and support to help everyone in Australia achieve their best possible mental health, whatever their age and wherever they live. 

• Lifeline: 13 11 14: for anyone in Australia who is experiencing a personal crisis or thinking about suicide call 13 11 14 or text 0477 13 11 14 at night time (after 6 pm).

For Men

• Mensline Australia: 1300 789 978. A service that supports men and boys who are dealing with family and relationship difficulties. This telephone and online support service is available 24/7 for Australian men. 

• Matthew Talbot Center: (02) 4961 1411 - emergency and crisis accommodation for men or men with children. The above phone number is for the Wickham NSW center, they may provide you with details for a shelter near you.

For Women ​

• White Ribbon Australia: 1800 7377 328. This is a 24 hour 7 days a week national sexual assault, family and domestic violence counselling line.

• NSW Domestic Violence Helpline: 1900 656 463. This service is available 24 hours, 7 days a week. The NSW Domestic Violence Line provides counselling and referrals to women experiencing domestic and family violence. Call for support with ADVO's, safety plans, emergency accommodation, transport, police, Courts and lawyers.
